Hello friends!
We are so excited to finally get the Woodshed website online. There's nothing like sharing every little thing that's happening with our friends.
First up… THANK YOU #SHEDHEADS !!
We have noticed the growing amount of support, people singing along and people introducing their friends to our little country-folk group, and we could not be more grateful. Our band is like a family, and the more music lovers who jump on board the Woodshed train the bigger the family gets. We love writing, performing, and celebrating life with each and every one of you. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us a reason to start a website in the first place! We would not be here without you.
Now that you have the website, please feel free to share it around, let us know you popped by for a visit, and keep track of all the happenings in one beautiful place! We will be sure to add more photos, more events, more content and maybe soon a fan sighting page! (#WoodshedintheWild #Shedheads are just a couple tags you could use!) The more you interact with us the better it gets. We have a new YouTube as well, which we would love you to check out. Right now content is slim, but we are looking to add some bigger things soon! (You can find the youtube at the handle @musicintheshed.)
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT… We are FINALLY getting into the studio! That's right, your favorite local band is making an EP with Andrew Oedel at Ghost Hit Recording, and we can't wait to get started. The hard part is, we need to fundraise to help offset the costs. That is where YOU come in!
We need our #Shedhead team! But the good news is we can make it fun too! We will be doing a kickstarter, but also starting at the end of May we will be selling brand new Woodshed T-Shirts and working up some fan favoring raffles at our shows to get started! Keep your peepers peeled (and if able, your financial assistance at the ready!) and we will let you know once we have the first run ready to go!
Don't forget we have some gigs coming up, including May 17th and 18th; Sat. May 17th at Lake George tavern in Wales, MA, and Sunday May 18th at Brimfield Winery during the flea market! We hope to see you there. Ask us for your favorite tunes, say hi, snag some selfies with us, and don't forget to add the hashtags for fun! We can't wait to make more music for you friends. Let's get the Summer started!
